For more than 30 years, Richmond Volleyball Club has been committed to providing young athletes the most competitive travel program in the central Virginia area. With 2 dedicated  full-time staff (plus an office of support staff), over 70 coaches and 500+ players, RVC juniors travel strives to provide opportunities for players at all levels to grow and compete at a high level!

Pre-Tryout Orientation
All Pre-Tryout Orientations are at the Byrdhill location
Drop in anytime between the times listed to turn in paperwork, pick up a tryout shirt and try on uniforms.

PTO Dates TBA

Players do not have to attend with the
parent unless doing uniform fittings

Bring completed Financial Agreement

National Girls & boys 1's

This high level team will travel anywhere in the US to play the best competition and be seen by college coaches. This level trains 3X a week. Season runs December - June and usually will participate in a National Championship tournament (ie USAV Nationals or AAU) at the end of the year.

Zonal girls & boys 2's

This high level team will also do quite a bit of travel although it's mostly on the east coast. Practices are 3x a week. Season runs December - June and usually will participate in a National Championship tournament (ie USAV Nationals or AAU) at the end of the year.

State girls

This competitive level will travel mostly within the Region (4 state radius) but also have additional overnight tournaments built in. Practices are 2x a week. Season runs December - May

Regional girls and boys

This competitive level travels around the region to play other clubs and tournaments. Practices are 2x a week. Season runs December - May

We expect our players to abide by the
USA Volleyball Participant
Code of Conduct

and our parents to abide by the National Youth Sports Safety Foundation Sport Parents Code of Conduct. Both documents along with a more detailed list of player and parent expectations can be found in our RVC Junior's Travel Handbook.
