Kill For A Cure

Richmond Volleyball Club is proud to support this annual event to raise money for the American Cancer Society held on December 2, 2017.

This event was first held in 1997, in honor of RVC player Karen Shortall. Karen’s life was cut short by cancer at age 27. Each year, in her honor, we hold this event to fight back the only way we know how — with volleyball. Kill for a Cure is run by the kindness of volunteers. They need your help! If you’d like to be a part, let them know at or check out their Facebook page. This year, the event is offering the following divisions: reverse coed quads for all levels, and coed 6s for B/BB. Space is limited!
