Boys East Coast Championships
Memorial Day Weekend
May 23-25, 2020
Richmond Volleyball Club is proud to host this annual “Stay to Play” event for boys’ USA Volleyball teams.
Update 3/23/20: We are still anticipating holding this event, but Richmond Volleyball Club will be closed through April 23 per the Virginia Governor’s orders.
A message from the Tournament Director about COVID-19:
We are monitoring the Coronavirus situation diligently and working closely with the City Richmond, Counties of Henrico and Chesterfield, the GRCC, and USA Volleyball to follow all procedures and guidelines that they recommend. At this time we are moving ahead with our planning and preparations for another great event. If the event status changes we will certainly communicate with all teams, coaches, and spectators through their email address in SportWrench Registration System and provide updated information on the event website.
Welcome and thank you for considering taking part in the 27th Annual Boys’ East Coast Championship volleyball tournament. The Boys’ East Coast Championship (“BECC”) is an annual event played over Memorial Day weekend. The tournament will take place May 23-25, 2020 at the Greater Richmond Convention Center. This tournament is part of the USA Volleyball (“USAV”) qualification process used to determine the Open Division teams at the Boys’ Junior National Championships. The BECC awards up to three bids in each age group, provided there are a minimum of fifteen entries in the age group. In the event of previously-qualified teams, the bids will trickle down according to the USA Volleyball Boy’s Bid Manual.
