    • If you have symptoms or have been exposed to someone with symptoms, do not attend. If we observe a player that appears to be ill, they will be isolated and we will contact the parent to pick them up.
    • All players must wear masks while entering or exiting the building and at any time when they are not practicing or playing.
    • All players should  sanitize their hands and arms before and after playing.  Sanitizer will be available for those who do not have their own.
    • All players should bring a small towel or something similar to wipe their faces as necessary. Coaches will be reminding junior players to avoid touching their faces.
    • We encourage all players to bring their own full water bottle to play/practice.  We do have bottle filling stations available.
    • Junior players may enter the gym no more than 5 minutes before their practice time to comply with guidelines.
    • Please do not bring any unnecessary equipment, backpacks, etc. into the gym. Per CDC guidelines, belongings should be kept separate.  If you bring items in, please keep them separate from others.
    • Because younger children are not yet able to be vaccinated, parents will not be allowed in practice at this time. Parents will be allowed for tournaments if wearing a mask.
    • During juniors’ practices, coaches will closely monitor players and enforce social distancing whenever possible, reminding players not to touch their faces, etc. This includes team huddles and pre-practice conversations especially.
    • Junior players should be picked up immediately after practice concludes so as to reduce congestion.

The Middle School League for 7th – 9th Graders is designed to provide an opportunity for boys and girls who do not have a school volleyball team to practice and compete in the fall. This league is more competitive than a rec league and is designed for players with prior volleyball experience. Players with limited to no volleyball experience should participate in Jumpin’ Juniors instead. Matches will be played 6 on 6 with 12 players on a roster where all players will receive relatively equal playing time.  There will be modified serve rules in order to promote rallies and player and coaches will referee matches as well as compete during pool play.  Each team has an RVC coach and practices will focus on development and team concepts.
