In accordance with CDC guidelines, we recommend that all individuals, whether fully vaccinated or not, wear a mask while indoors. Effective 9/15/2021, revised 1/18/2022.
All RVC junior participants (under 18) and adults who are indoors with junior participants (coaches, parents, spectators, officials, etc.) must wear a mask. This is due to the low percentage of youth who are fully vaccinated.
All members, players, coaches, and employees, if an exposure occurs, the following guidelines will be followed –
Positive Test – Regardless of vaccination status, if a player/coach/member TESTS POSITIVE for COVID-19, they may not participate for 5 days from the date of their positive test and can return on the 6th day AS LONG AS they are free of symptoms. If player/coach/member has been in the presence of their team, the team is considered EXPOSED and will be out 5 days from their last contact with the player/coach that tested positive. EXPOSED players/coaches can return on the 6th day AS LONG AS they are free of symptoms.
Exposed Outside of Team – Regardless of vaccination status, if a player/coach/member is exposed to COVID-19 OUTSIDE of team activities (home, school, party, work, etc), they may not participate for 5 days from their exposure and can return on the 6th AS LONG AS they are free of symptoms.
The date of your exposure is considered day 0. Day 1 is the first full day after your last contact with a person who has had COVID-19.
A negative test will WILL NOT shorten the length of quarantine.
Upon retuning from POSITIVE TEST or EXPOSURE, player/coach/member/employee must continue to wear a mask for 5 days. This includes when playing or coaching in a match at a tournament.
Players/Coaches/Members/Employees should monitor their symptoms EVERYDAY. If you do not feel well, stay home.
*Exposure – Being within 6 feet of a person who has COVID-19 for a total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period.
